These Terms of Service govern your use of the Errnd mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Errnd. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
01Acceptance & eligibility
You may use Errnd only if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
02The service
Errnd is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects customers who post errands with independent couriers who choose to accept and fulfill them. Errnd is not a delivery company, does not employ couriers, and does not own, sell, or take custody of any items delivered through the platform.
Couriers are independent contractors. Errnd facilitates the connection only — the actual delivery contract is between you and the courier.
03Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Any activity from your account is your responsibility.
- You may have only one active account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.
- You may delete your account at any time from the in-app settings, subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
04Customer obligations
- Describe your errand accurately, including item details, pickup and drop-off addresses, and any special instructions.
- Be reachable while the errand is active so the courier can call or chat if needed.
- Be present (or have someone present) at the drop-off to receive the items and pay in cash.
- Treat couriers with respect. Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior will result in suspension.
- You are legally responsible for the items you ask couriers to deliver and for their lawful possession and use.
05Courier obligations
- Complete verification (national ID, driver's license, vehicle registration) before accepting errands.
- Pick up and deliver the items in a timely manner as agreed in the errand.
- Handle items with reasonable care.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and operate vehicles legally and safely.
- Maintain accurate location sharing while an errand is in progress.
- Treat customers with respect at all times.
- Do not accept errands you cannot complete; do not abandon errands after pickup without contacting support.
06Payment
- Cash on delivery only. Customers pay the courier in person upon delivery — Errnd does not process card or in-app payments.
- The delivery fee is shown to the customer before they confirm. For purchase errands, the customer also reimburses the actual item cost shown on the receipt.
- Couriers keep 100% of the agreed fare. Errnd does not take any commission from couriers.
- Errnd may charge users separately for premium features in the future; such changes will be announced before they take effect.
07Cancellations
- Customers may cancel an errand free of charge before a courier has been matched.
- Once a courier is matched, late cancellations or no-shows may affect the customer's rating and ability to use the Service.
- Couriers may cancel before pickup if circumstances change; repeated cancellations affect courier ratings.
- After pickup, the courier must contact support before cancelling — abandoning items after pickup may result in suspension and potential legal liability.
08Prohibited items & conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in a permanent ban and reporting to authorities:
- Illegal drugs, prescription medications without proper authorization, alcohol delivered to minors.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks.
- Stolen goods or items obtained through fraud.
- Hazardous materials, flammable substances, toxic chemicals.
- Live animals (other than service animals in compliance with local laws).
- Cash, gift cards, or other monetary instruments above reasonable amounts.
- Items that exceed safe carrying capacity for the courier's vehicle.
- Any item or service that violates Moroccan law.
09Disputes & ratings
- If something goes wrong with a delivery, use the in-app "Report an issue" button to open a support case.
- Reporting pauses the automatic confirmation timer and opens a support conversation with both parties.
- Errnd will review fairly but is not obligated to refund or replace items lost or damaged by independent couriers — couriers remain responsible for their own conduct.
- Both customers and couriers can rate each other after each errand. Repeated low ratings may result in suspension.
10Liability & disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- Errnd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
- Errnd's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Errnd in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, given Errnd's zero-commission model, is typically zero).
- Errnd is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of independent couriers or customers. Any dispute between a customer and a courier is between those parties.
- You use the Service at your own risk.
11Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute arising from or related to your use of the Service shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco, unless local law mandates otherwise.
12Changes & contact
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in the app and via email. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
